This in bloom flower was a time consuming piece but I enjoyed every minute of it. If you noticed my recent smaller painting - Soon - a flower bud, this is what the flower looks like in full bloom. The Camellia is such a gorgeous flower with several different types and colors. This one was blooming right outside the cottage we stayed in on the Big Island.
