BARELY MOZART by Susan Medyn, Pen and Ink and Watercolor

I drew this while attending a series of Mozart Concerts @ the Boston Symphony. Our venerable Music Director, Mr. James Levine, had previously fallen off the stage and has been relegated to a chair. Twenty young designers were invited to invited to make dresses based on the music. My title and friezes at the bottom of the page reflect the amount of clothing the models were wearing. It was quite a runway show. This painting is 9"x 12" and is in a solid maple handmade frame. The painting is for sale for $450 plus $ 30 shipping. It has been exhibited at the Gilbert Stuart Museum in Saunderstown, RI. It is one of my favorite pieces.
