I developed this painting over several days a little at a time until I fell in love with it. Many years ago I lived in Northern Canada for about 5 years (Timmins, Ontario), and this painting reminds me so much of the northern lights I witnessed late at night, sitting in the back yard with my family all bundled up to keep warm. Mother nature is so filled with magic moments and some just get caught in your mind forever. FYI - this is the town that Shania Twain was born and grew up in, imagine that.
