This is a commission piece that I did for my friend's daughter. She was awarded a new position in her school and wanted a painting to go on the wall behind her desk. It is inspired by words from a song sung by Jann Arden. The words are: "Heart in Hand, feet on Ground, facing forward, be yourself". For more of my work please visit my website:
