I had an idea to use the colors of Hawaii, the red earth, the various shades of sand, sea and sky in an abstract piece. I love the turtles and have been able to swim with them a few times, no touching of course. Thank goodness the population has increased in recent years. They are so beautiful and have been here for many ages and hopefully will continue to thrive in these Hawaiian waters.
