I’ve had this idea for awhile of doing a new series of paintings of musical instruments. Incubated with that for a couple of months, then thought AHA, I’ll collage concerto music and paint atop that. So away I went. This whimsical cello is painted on top of Elgar’s famous Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85. BRILLIANT!
