"TURQUOISE TRAIL PATH"5"X7"
This painting is from a photo taken on a plein air excursion on the backroads between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. There is a lot of history about this trail - I'm just not sure what it is! Since Santa Fe is the oldest capital in the USA (I think), it probably had something to do with the trade route from the west. This painting is for an upcoming show in November. I'm going to go do some historical research!
