I painted "Distant Echo" a couple of months ago. I love to work with a textural surface and although this painting isn't quite as "lumpy" as some of my newer ones, it is accented with a raised area of metallic dots that I created using mylar ribbon. The ribbon has cut out circles and makes a great stencil that I use in many different ways in a lot of my paintings.
