Moving Metals/Cherry Plum. Abstract on 24x24x1 1/2 gallery wrapped canvas. This is an incredibly beautiful piece...there is so much movement from several start points. Be sure to click on the painting to enlarge it so that all of the veins may be seen. The Metals Series remains very difficult to photograph accurately...the shine of the lighter metallic colors cause a glare, washing out the whites and golds, and lightening the darker colors, in this case, the plum, which is actually very deep and rich in tone. I have also posted a view of a side....each side is beautiful, and unique in that the paint flows differently off of each side.
