"Lingering Sunset" by Karla Nolan, FRAMED glass painting

They are always framed for the protection of the glass. The paints often are transparent and sometimes opaque, giving a stained glass appearance under good light. Sometimes we'll be sitting outside under the pergola, admiring the flower garden, enjoying the sweet summer breeze, the lovely glass of wine, and most of all the good company -- and then look up at the sky and be amazed at how wonderful everything can be! This painting reminds me of such an occasion.
